I hope you don’t mind me updating you with my news. My rescue dogs get a bit bored with it, to be honest.
I hope all is well in your world.
Keep safe all!

As some of you will know, I write edgy, sexy, heart-wrenching fiction, six books published to date through Safkhet Publishing. I am now super-pleased to announce that I have recently been signed by Choc Lit ~ Where heroes are like chocolate ~ irresistible! Naturally, after many years writing, I feel as if I’ve arrived in chocolate Heaven! My novel, The Rest of My Life, will be published in 2015. I can’t wait to get stuck into the edits. I know, I'm a little bit mad. I really think we authors go through a sort of grieving process when we part company with our characters, though. It will be nice to get back in touch with Adam and Sienna. Amazon for just 0.99p (print copy £5.99) or ordered in print from all good book shops . Remember, all proceeds go to Movember charities for life. Grab it and tweet it for the men in your life: #IBoughtTheBook In other news, my local library has invited me along to represent a recently released anthology, Let’s Hear it For The Boys, 100% proceeds towards Movember, raising men’s health awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues. I have a particular interest in this as my partner has agreed to share his own treatment with Prostate Cancer UK in hopes of encouraging other men to seek help earlier. Let’s Hear it For The Boys is a tribute to the men of Movember. The HitLitPro authors have created these nine short stories to celebrate the men in our lives, the effect they have on our hearts, our minds (and our bodies) and the difference they can make to the world around them. The event is on 28th November from 10.00am at Droitwich Library. The book can be purchased on As if this wasn’t enough, I also decided to embark on my Masters Degree in Creative Writing at Birmingham City University. I’m relieved to share that I passed with a commendation – and am possibly more nervous about tripping over my gown to collect my certificate than I was undertaking the course. Anyone who knows me will know that this is a distinct possibility. That’s it! Oh, except to mention that my latest psychological thriller has been reviewed on Crime Fiction Lover and Bestselling Crime Thrillers, where my profile features alongside such hugely talented authors as: John Grisham, Jeffrey Archer, Harlan Coben, Peter James, Lee Child, Patricia Cornwell… How fabulous is that? Here’s a little snippet of their review: “I want more!! This was a very powerful story with people who I could totally relate to. I felt their pain”. After a tumultuous few years, I am at last feeling proud of my writing endeavours. However, none of this would have been possible without the wonderful support of readers, book bloggers and reviewers, without which I would have given up. I can’t thank those people enough. I’d also like to thank Safkhet Publishing for commissioning me to write my first published book, and for believing in me when I’d lost the faith. I hope you don’t mind me updating you with my news. My rescue dogs get a bit bored with it, to be honest. I hope all is well in your world. Keep safe all! Lots of love,

Thanks so much, Jo. Ohhh, I will (though will try not to be too boring!). MA all completed. Man's prognosis extremely good. I imagine the next year to be hectic, but perhaps a little less stressful. :) Thanks for stopping by, sweetie. xx 22/11/2014 08:21:28 am
Thank you so much, Janice! It's definitely been a busy old year. Some of it but not planned, but that's life, hey? Hopefully, I'll be able to channel my energies more into my novel writing now. I do hope so. Thank you for stopping by, sweetie. :) xx
